I learned the idioms in the class last session.
These idioms are very useful and popular in America.
1. bore to death ----- bore some one very much
Ex. The movie is boring me to death.
2. none of someone's business ----- I dion't wanna tell you.
Ex. My friend ask me how much I bought the car? I told him it none of your business.
3. over my head ----- find something too difficult to understand.
Ex. This math question is over my head. I can't solve it.
4. hold something against someone ----- I hate you.
Ex. He held it against me for a long time because I took his girlfriend to the dance.
5. try on ----- put on an article of clothing (usually before buying it) to see if it fits and to see if one likes it.
Ex. She tried the beautiful clothes on in the clothes store.
6. jump to conclusions ----- make a judgement or form an opinion before all the facts are known.
Ex. He was jumping to a wrong conclusion when he saw his girlfriend was talking with a man.
